Chicory cappuccino


This easy plant-based drink is perfect as a coffee substitute. Chicory is naturally caffeine free and it is associated with the improvement of healthy gastrointestinal function. In this particular recipe I added almond milk and a sprinkle of cinnamon to make a caffeine-free cappuccino.

What you need:

(Serves 1)

  • 1 teaspoon of chicory powder

  • Still water (a quarter of a mug)

  • Almond milk (three quarter of a mug)

  • Cinnamon powder

Bring some water to a boil (a quarter of a mug) and add one teaspoon of chicory powder into it. Warm some almond milk (three quarter of a mug) and add it into your hot water and the chicory powder. Froth the drink and sprinkle some cinnamon powder on top. Enjoy it!
